Here are the best practices for editing existing forms/flows in frevvo.

Here is a link to frevvo’s website regarding this: http://docs.frevvo.com/d/display/frevvo73/Administrator+Best+Practices

Always remember to…

  1. Take a backup of any form/flow before you make any changes. You can do this by clicking the download button. I usually keep folders and add the date to the zip file to keep track of the different forms/flows. If you run into any issues, you can always overwrite the version in frevvo with the last working copy of the form/flow.
  1. If you are removing fields, changing steps in the flow, or any major changes, you should download a copy (see above) and upload the flow into a new application. Then you can make changes (on the newly upload form/flow) to the form/flow, test the changes, version the form/flow and then roll out the new form/flow without causing issues with existing forms/flows on the task list. Any existing forms/flow on the task list will remain in the “old” version and new forms/flows will be created in the “new” version.
  2. If you do not want to version form/flows but would like to make certain fields no longer show on the form/flow, uncheck required, visible and printable properties. Also make sure you check your javascript rules and disable any rules or lines of codes that may make those fields required, visible or printable.
