Description:
The 5046/5076 is prone to developing thin vertical lines on scans, which can be a problem when a user wants the scanner to remove blank pages and/or split documents based on a blank page.

Solution:
Fix:
1. Clean scanning glass (both front and back)
2. If that doesn't work, enable an advanced scan setting, 'enhance image', under the 'binary image' tab. Do this by clicking 'Config...'
3. Add line removal and noise removal. Press OK until you see Docstar basic settings window and then remember to save.
