In the event that your scanner is no longer working with DocStar/Eclipse or you can not upload files, use the steps below to get yourself back up and running


Introduction to Client

The DocStar/Eclipse Client is used to connect your physical machine to the DocStar/Eclipse local or cloud server. Without the Client running and connected, you cannot use any of the functions that need to have the connection established such as scanning, uploading, or downloading.


Troubleshooting the Client

  1. Check to see if the Client is running
  2. Select the green and blue Client icon
    • Once you see this page, select "Reconnect" in the bottom right corner
  3. Confirm Reconnection 
    • Look at the top of your docstar Capture page and check for the image below
