How To: Request a barcode license (or any available license) in the Eclipse client service. Print

Description: Need to assign a barcode license to a client station for distributed queue processing or scanning with barcodes.

NOTE: Your Eclipse Client has to be installed. If you are unsure how to install it, you can find a Knowledge Base article for it: Here

Also Note: This process is also used to request a license for Imaging, OCR, Smartlink, IElink, Print Import & Office Integration. Requesting a license is only going to work if there are licenses available.

1) Launch your Eclipse Client, and make sure you are logged in, and click the Licensing Tab.

2) Click on the Barcode license that you want (The number of available licenses are displayed next to each license).

Once selected, hit request. You should see the checkbox checked off if it was successful.
