Description: There is a way to request an approval for a document without altering a workflows/templates (especially if it's not required all the time). If you want to approve or deny a document in the system, you can also do that without any alteration to a workflow/template

This step can be performed in the Retrieve Tab as well as an open document.

For Retrieval:

Search the document that is being required for an approval. Go to Actions > Request Approval:

A new, small, popup window appears requiring the username or group of the user[s] you want to send the approval for. 

Select and hit OK.

If you have the Document Open, you will need to go to Actions > Approval:

From here you can Approve/Deny a document, request an approval and set a required amount of approvals for this specific document.
