Description: The idle time out license setting in site settings isn't working, which could be causing users not to be able to login.

If you open event viewer from the server, you'll notice errors that apply to the Eclipse license monitor service.

Software Versions Affected:  All

Solution:    Verify that is logged into the configure services tab of the Docstar client on the server. This makes it so the license monitor service runs, which will free up idle users' licenses.

  1. Locate the ECM Client in the System Tray and find the Configure Service tab in the client settings. 
  2. Make sure that is logged in and set within the User Name section.
  3. Run tests to verify that everything is running smoothly.
